Swimming at Comoran pools

  Swimming

Lately we have been learning how to swim! Every one was stunned at the sound of year 3, 4, 5 and 6 going to Cameron pools! Each week we have the opportunities to swim at lunch time.

We went swimming in the school pool...

  and at Cameron pools.

We had  lots of fun swimming.
My class loved our trios to Comoran pools!

  1. You have a pool in your school? That's so cool. Over here in Canada we only have one pool in town and it's outdoors. Outdoor pools have there challanges, like high running costs due to heating, but there's something special about swimming with the warm sun on your back that makes makes it special. I think it's important to be grateful for what God has given you in your life that really matters and I see that displayed in your writting. Psalms 50:23 "The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me”

  2. That's the thing with blogs, you can put in alot of hard work and no one may ever read them but don't let that discourage you. You still learn by researching, presenting and communicating your thoughts. Every time you blog you improve on your communication skills, and who knows you may just effect someone's life by what you write. I encourage you to read and comment on other people's blogs as well, you can also learn alot by seeing what other people have done. Oh and do I get a prize for being the first;)

  6. Hey katie, my name is Parwin and I am from YMS, I really liked you post about when you went swimming because when I was looking at you blog, the photo's stood out from the rest and that's why I checked this post. The photo's of the Cameron swimming pools sort of looks like the ones in Living Springs when we went to camp. Maybe next time you could make the text a bit bigger because I couldn't read the text in the first photo but you did a really great job!

Looking forward to your other posts,
    Parwin

  10. Hey Katie. How is Cameron pools heated? I only ask because over here in Canada a pool was built next to a river and the river fed into the pool directly and flowed back out again. It was not heated at all and was basicly like swimming in the river itself temperature wise. A good pool cover helped raise the heat over night so it was a bit warmer. One winter the river level rose to high and ended up sweeping the pool down stream and that was the end of that.
